In a tragic turn of events stemming from a domestic dispute, Cedric Blue Sr. lost his life in Memphis, Tennessee, on the evening of January 13, 2025. The man accused of ending his life was his own son, 24-year-old Cedric Blue Jr. The fatal encounter unfolded in the Uptown area of the city, where police responded to a shooting just after 9 p.m. and discovered Blue Sr. with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
