In the winter of 2016, the life of 25-year-old Jaquan Jamal White, a Black / African American male, was cut tragically short in the small community of Suttons Bay, Michigan. On January 11th, emergency services responded to a call at a residence in the 300 block of a local street, where they found White with a single gunshot wound to the head.
