He was a student in the Buena Vista Public Schools before embarking on a career in the music industry, where he was in the process of working on his second album at the time of his death.
Richard was inside a residence in the 100 block of Mysylvia Drive in Buena Vista Township when the fatal incident occurred. He was a father and was remembered by his family for his loving and kind nature, with a heart of gold who never met a stranger.
