In the winter of 2016, a Memphis family was devastated by the loss of 35-year-old Timothy Simpson. His life was abruptly ended, and the circumstances of his death revealed a grim and violent story. On December 2, 2016, Simpson's body was discovered inside a vacant apartment in the 3800 block of Jackson Avenue. An investigation determined that he had died from multiple gunshot wounds.
