In the evening hours of February 16, 2020, Hanson Arnold, a 33-year-old Black male, was fatally shot in Indianapolis, Indiana. The incident occurred in the 5600 block of East 36th Street, where police responded to a report of a person shot just before 6 p.m. Upon their arrival, officers discovered Arnold suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
