Dominique Nina Herron, a 24-year-old woman from Mishawaka, Indiana, tragically lost her life on September 6, 2020. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning when Mishawaka Police officers responded to reports of a shooting at the intersection of Logan and Mishawaka Avenue. Upon arrival, they found Herron inside a car with a gunshot wound to her back. Despite the efforts of several witnesses who attempted to provide aid, Herron was pronounced dead at the scene.
