A quiet Sunday morning in Indianapolis was shattered by gunfire, leaving a young man's life tragically cut short. In the early hours of July 30, 2017, police responded to a report of a person shot in the 5600 block of Abercromby Circle on the city's northwest side. There they found Timothy Wayne Womack, a 27-year-old African-American male, suffering from critical gunshot wounds. He was rushed to a nearby hospital but ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
