Max Reed, a 31-year-old resident of East Chicago, Indiana, was found dead on December 15, 2020. His body was discovered at approximately 6:42 a.m. in the 3600 block of Michigan Court. The Lake County coroner's office initially listed his manner of death as "pending," but it was later confirmed that Reed had been shot to death.
