Shamar Da’Syhon-Malik Barnes, a 19-year-old from Elkhart, Indiana, tragically lost his life on February 5, 2021. Shamar was found with gunshot wounds to his chest in a parking lot in Elkhart, after being shot outside a nearby convenience store. Despite efforts to save him, he was pronounced dead at a hospital shortly after the incident.
