In the summer of 2016, a young father's life was tragically cut short in Elkhart, Indiana. Brandon Keith Jackson, a 24-year-old male, was killed on June 23, 2016. The events that led to his death began to unfold when police were called to an apartment in the 200 block of West Garfield Avenue following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, officers discovered the front door of the apartment ajar and found Jackson's body inside.
