In the early hours of Sunday, November 3, 2024, a shooting in Elkhart, Indiana, resulted in the death of 33-year-old Romulo Jesus Reyes Osuna. The incident, which took place in the 700 block of County Road 3 North, also left a second man, Carlos Martinez, critically injured. When Elkhart Police Department officers arrived at the scene around 4:40 a.m., they discovered both men suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite immediate life-saving efforts, Reyes Osuna was pronounced dead at the scene.
