In the spring of 2021, a burst of gunfire on an Indianapolis afternoon shattered the peace and ended the life of 34-year-old Clarence January. On April 19th, January was sitting in a car in the 3700 block of Baltimore Avenue with 35-year-old Savage Trent Jones. It was around 2:15 p.m. when another vehicle reportedly pulled alongside them.
