Mario A. Gilmer Jr., a 12-year-old boy from Fort Wayne, Indiana, tragically passed away on June 14, 2021. His body was discovered late Monday night on a railroad elevation near Hoagland Avenue and Melita Street in Fort Wayne. The Allen County Coroner's Office confirmed that Mario died from a gunshot wound to the head. The circumstances surrounding his death were initially unclear, and the manner of death was pending further investigation.
