In the late summer of 2016, a tragic series of events unfolded in Fort Wayne, Indiana, culminating in the death of 66-year-old Frank Ole Macomber. A U.S. Army veteran who served during Vietnam and a retiree from General Motors, Macomber was described by those who knew him as a kind, generous, and good-hearted man who cared deeply for his family and friends. His life, however, would be violently cut short by his neighbor, Amber Pasztor.
