In the early morning hours of December 3, 2021, a grim discovery was made in a garage on Cumberland Avenue in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Responding to a call just before 2:30 a.m., authorities found the bodies of 19-year-old Brendan Steave Cole and 16-year-old Juan Jose Ramirez Jr. Both young men, who were found wearing ski masks, had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and were pronounced dead at the scene. The Allen County Coroner's Office subsequently ruled their deaths a double homicide.
