On Saturday, October 19, 2024, a tragic incident occurred at a high school-aged party in the 4900 block of Manistee Drive in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The party, which was publicized on social media and included an invitation to bring alcohol and marijuana, quickly got out of hand. Willie Venzell Ivy III, a 17-year-old student at North Side High School and a member of the school's varsity football team, was the victim who lost his life in the shooting.
