On a late Monday afternoon in Fort Wayne, Indiana, the life of 18-year-old Emmanuel Freeman was tragically cut short. On June 27, 2016, police were called to the Diplomat Apartments on the southeast side of the city around 4:45 p.m. A woman in the parking lot directed officers to an apartment where they discovered Freeman unresponsive inside.
