Nicholas Lee Powers, a 30-year-old resident of Fort Wayne, Indiana, tragically lost his life on September 13, 2016. Powers was one of three victims in a triple homicide that occurred at the Sports and Spirits Bar located on East Wayne Street in Fort Wayne. The incident took place in the early hours of the morning, around 2:30 a.m., when gunshots were fired inside the crowded bar.
