Death by Force

On August 2, 2024, a shooting incident occurred in the 1100 block of West Fourth Street in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The Fort Wayne Police Department (FWPD) was dispatched to the scene at approximately 5:45 p.m. in response to a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers found a 27-year-old male, later identified as Travon Depree Holman, suffering from gunshot wounds. Holman was in a life-threatening condition and was transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.
