In the summer of 2024, a shooting incident in Fort Wayne, Indiana, resulted in the death of 27-year-old Travon Depree Holman. A Black male, Holman was fatally wounded on the evening of August 2nd, in the 1100 block of West Fourth Street. Responding to a call about the shooting, Fort Wayne Police Department officers discovered Holman in a life-threatening condition. He was quickly transported to a local hospital, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.
