On April 15, 2022, Vanel Stamps, aged 47, and his daughter Summer Shine Stamps, aged 22, were tragically killed in a murder-suicide incident in Indianapolis, Indiana. The incident occurred at the Oaks of Eagle Creek apartment complex on the city's northwest side.
