Marquise Hall, a 26-year-old resident of Lafayette, Indiana, tragically lost his life on July 5, 2022, during a violent incident at a block party in Gary, Indiana. The event, which took place in the early hours of the morning, turned deadly when gunfire erupted, resulting in the deaths of three individuals, including Hall. The other victims were identified as Ashanti Brown, a 20-year-old woman from Olympia Fields, Illinois, and Laurence Mangum, a 25-year-old man from Merrillville, Indiana.
