Death by Force

Tyrae D. Hayes, a 25-year-old resident of Gary, Indiana, tragically lost his life on July 31, 2022. Hayes was found at a Citgo gas station located at 901 E. 5th Avenue in Gary, where he was discovered lying on his back near the front counter, bleeding profusely from gunshot wounds to his head and body. The Lake County Coroner's Office pronounced him dead at the scene.
