James P. Clark, a 58-year-old man from Indianapolis, was tragically killed in a shooting on January 3, 2020, in Gary, Indiana. According to reports, officers were called to the 3000 block of West 9th Avenue around 6:10 a.m. after receiving a report of a man down in the street. Upon arrival, they found Clark with a gunshot wound. The Lake County coroner's office pronounced him dead at the scene and ruled his death a homicide.
