Death by Force

DeAngelo Spencer, a 28-year-old resident of Gary, Indiana, was tragically shot to death on May 23, 2017. The incident occurred in the 2400 block of Pierce Street, where officers responded to a report of a person shot at approximately 8:40 a.m. Upon arrival, they discovered Spencer with multiple gunshot wounds inside a home on that block. The Lake County coroner's office pronounced him dead at the scene at 9:30 a.m., and his death was ruled a homicide.
