Allen Lorin Williams, a 28-year-old resident of Gary, Indiana, tragically lost his life on August 18, 2017. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning when Gary police responded to a call of shots fired in the 1000 block of Utah Street. Upon arrival, they found Williams with multiple gunshot wounds. He was immediately transported to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was pronounced dead at 6:46 a.m. The Cook County medical examiner's office ruled his death a homicide.
