Trooper Scott Alan Patrick, a 27-year-old Indiana State Police officer, tragically lost his life on December 22, 2003, in Gary, Indiana. Trooper Patrick was dispatched to assist a stranded motorist on Interstate 80/94, also known as the Frank Borman Expressway, at the Grant Street exit.
