Robert "Bobby" Wright, a 14-year-old from Gary, Indiana, tragically lost his life on October 3, 2022. Bobby was an 8th grader at Bailly Stem Academy and was well-loved by his family and community. On the night of October 3, Bobby and his best friend, 16-year-old Dayvion Jones, were found dead from gunshot wounds at a home near Taney Street and 11th Avenue in Gary. The incident was part of a spate of violence that saw four people killed in a short period in the city.
