On a cold winter evening in Denver, Colorado, on January 9, 1975, the Burlington Hotel on Larimer Street became the scene of a tragedy that would remain a mystery for decades to come. Inside the hotel, 69-year-old Leslie Roberts, a Black male, was found suffering from a fatal gunshot wound.
