In the summer of 2007, a young life was tragically cut short on the streets of Denver. On July 22nd, 17-year-old Marcus Mason, a Black male, was visiting a friend in the area of 36th and Olive Street. The evening took a dark turn when Marcus and his friend were walking to another friend's house nearby.
