On November 1, 2022, a tragic shooting incident occurred at the intersection of Colfax and Verbena in Denver, Colorado, resulting in the death of 41-year-old Allen Dawkins and injuring five other individuals. According to the Denver Police Department (DPD), the incident involved three suspects who were in a vehicle traveling north on Verbena. The suspects stopped their vehicle, exited, and fired at the victims who were standing on the curb near the intersection.
