Arlandus Jackson, a 37-year-old man from Chicago, was fatally shot on October 2, 2022, in Gary, Indiana. Jackson was in Gary to assist his friend, Marcus Johnson, in delivering an engine. The incident occurred when they arrived at the home of George James, who had requested the engine delivery. According to court records, an argument ensued between Johnson and James over the placement of the engine.
