In the late hours of a Saturday in Gary, Indiana, the life of 16-year-old Tiyrek Foxx was tragically cut short. On November 28, 2015, the young man, a student at West Side High School, was at a friend's house when a gun discharged, striking him in the back. The wound proved to be fatal, and Tiyrek was pronounced dead. Friends and family remembered him as a funny and smart individual with a talent for making people laugh.
