Dayvion Jones, a 16-year-old from Gary, Indiana, was tragically killed on October 4, 2022. He was found dead from gunshot wounds alongside his 14-year-old friend, Bobby Wright, at a home near Taney Street and 11th Avenue. The Lake County Coroner's office confirmed their identities. The incident was part of a spate of violence in Gary that saw four people killed in separate shootings over a short period.
