Douglas Moody, aged 36, was tragically murdered on January 13, 1992, in Richmond, Virginia. His death was a result of a violent confrontation linked to a drug-trafficking operation. On the evening of January 13, 1992, Douglas Moody was at his apartment when Richard Tipton and James Roane, members of a drug-trafficking conspiracy, targeted him.
