An 18-year-old male, Jamarion Smith, was fatally wounded in a shooting that occurred in the 400 block of Witchduck Court in Henrico County, Virginia, on the afternoon of April 25, 2025. Authorities responded to the scene at approximately 2:19 p.m. to find Smith suffering from a gunshot wound. He was a Black/African American male.
Emergency medical assistance was provided at the scene before Jamarion Smith was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Despite medical intervention, he succumbed to his injuries a week later, on May 2, 2025.
Preliminary investigations by law enforcement suggest that the shooting stemmed from an altercation involving multiple individuals.
