In the early hours of a Sunday morning in Richmond, Virginia, the life of 24-year-old Danyale K. Herring was tragically cut short. On September 8, 2013, police responded to calls of gunfire at a residence in the 2800 block of Broad Rock Boulevard. Inside, they found Herring suffering from life-threatening gunshot wounds.
