In the Whitcomb Court neighborhood of Richmond, Virginia, the life of a young man was cut short on March 25, 2025. Kanye Dahmir Lewis, a 20-year-old Black / African American male, was found with a fatal gunshot wound. Officers who were patrolling the area initially heard the sound of gunfire, which led them to the scene where they discovered Lewis on the ground. He was pronounced dead at the location.
