In the summer of 2016, a single act of violence cut short the life of Brian M. King, a 24-year-old male from Richmond, Virginia. On the evening of August 23rd, the sound of gunfire shattered the quiet of the Foxwood Apartments complex. When police arrived at the scene in the 5000 block of Snead Road, they discovered King in a courtyard, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, but his injuries proved to be fatal.
