In the autumn of 2016, a sudden act of violence brought an untimely end to the life of Marc E. Johnson, a 48-year-old man from Richmond, Virginia. On the evening of October 12, 2016, Johnson was fatally shot in the 5300 block of Blue Ridge Avenue.
