On a Tuesday evening, the 30th of September, 2025, the life of 18-year-old Khyrie Bright was tragically cut short in the Mosby Court neighborhood of Richmond, Virginia. An African American male, Bright was discovered lying on the ground in the 1500 block of Coalter Street with a gunshot wound. The call reporting a person down came in just after 6 p.m., a time when the day was beginning to wind down for many, but for Bright, it was the horrifying end.
