In the late hours of a Sunday summer evening, tragedy struck the streets of Richmond, Virginia. On July 29, 2018, at approximately 11:47 p.m., the sound of gunfire shattered the night in the 3100 block of Meadowbridge Road. When police arrived, they found the body of 19-year-old Joseph Lewis III lying on the sidewalk at the corner of E. Gladstone Avenue and Meadowbridge Road.
