Rupert Timothy Haughton, a 36-year-old minister of music and a well-known member of the gospel community, was tragically killed on January 14, 2022, in Richmond, Virginia. Haughton, who had moved to Richmond in 2003 and attended Virginia Union University, was deeply involved in his church and led the gospel group R. Timothy Haughton and ReNewed.
