In the summer of 2017, the life of 16-year-old Ketron Wells was tragically cut short. On the evening of June 7th, Ketron and his close friend, 15-year-old Christian Singleton, were walking to a store in their South Richmond neighborhood. The two boys were ambushed and fatally shot in what has been described as a cold and calculated attack. Both teenagers were students in the Richmond Public Schools system.
