In the fall of 1994, a tragic event unfolded in Richmond, Virginia, forever altering the lives of one family. James Nathaniel Randolph Jr., a 34-year-old Black man, was killed on October 14, 1994, in a brutal mass murder that claimed the lives of four other members of his family. The devastating incident took place in the Gilpin Court public housing complex.
