Death by Force

James L. Dejarnette Jr., a 29-year-old resident of Virginia Beach, VA, was tragically found dead on March 15, 2000. The Virginia Beach Police Department responded to a call at 12:40 am from Dejarnette's roommate, who discovered him lying injured inside their residence on New York Avenue. Upon arrival, the police found Dejarnette deceased, and the State Medical Examiner's Office later determined that he had died from a gunshot wound, classifying the death as a homicide.
