In the early hours of a Sunday morning in Virginia Beach, Virginia, a tragic event unfolded that claimed the lives of three people. On September 10, 2023, police were called to a residence on Gateway Place just after midnight, where they discovered a grim scene. Inside the home, they found 38-year-old Jon Lafave, a male, suffering from gunshot wounds. Two other individuals, Rebecca Ericson, 42, and her brother, Stephen Ericson, 39, were also found with gunshot injuries.
