In the summer of 2014, a tragic series of events unfolded in Virginia Beach, Virginia, culminating in the death of 24-year-old Gilbert C. McGriff III. On July 30th, McGriff was found shot on Sierra Drive, the victim of a fatal act of gun violence that cut his life short.
