On November 9, 2001, Zedric D. Daniels, a 20-year-old resident of Virginia Beach, VA, was tragically killed. At approximately 2:08 am, Daniels was sitting in a friend's vehicle parked outside the Holiday Inn located at 5655 Greenwich Road when he was shot in the head. The friend, who was inside the motel at the time, heard the gunshot and rushed outside to find Daniels bleeding from his head.
