Jocelyne Couture-Nowak, a French Canadian educator, tragically lost her life on April 16, 2007, during the Virginia Tech shooting in Blacksburg, Virginia. Born in Montreal, Canada, in 1958, she was a beloved mother, wife, and a dedicated member of the Blacksburg community.
