Daniel Alejandro Perez Cueva, a 21-year-old student from Peru, tragically lost his life on April 16, 2007, during the Virginia Tech massacre in Blacksburg, Virginia. Daniel was a junior majoring in international studies and was attending a French class when he was killed. He had transferred to Virginia Tech from the University of Miami and was known for his dedication to his studies and his aspirations to work in international services.
